Omega Watches

In the Greek alphabet, the letter Omega is used to symbolize accomplishment and perfection. In watch making, this brand is at the forefront of design, innovation and achievement. Louis Brand began making watches in 1848 and in 1894 the Omega 19-line caliber was created, fast becoming Omega's symbol of excellence - and the namesake of the company. In 1970, Omega introduced the first Quartz caliber watch, the Beta 21 and in 1965 the Omega Speedmaster was selected as the NASA official chronograph (in fact, it received the Snoopy Award for helping save the Apollo XIII mission crew).

Omega watches have traveled to the moon (the Speedmaster Professional, worn by Neil Armstrong in 1969) and been worn by sports stars, supermodels and movie stars (the Constellation, which has been worn by Ernie Els, Cindy Crawford and James Bond - to name a few). It has been the official timer for 21 Olympic Games and it has been designated the official watch of American astronauts and Russian cosmonauts. All these companies and individuals put their trust in Omega watches for superior quality and outstanding timekeeping. You can too.
